1. General information
GetMenu uses cookies and browser storage to make the platform work, keep users signed in, remember preferences and support checkout.
Cookies are small files stored by the browser. localStorage and sessionStorage are similar browser storage mechanisms used by the app.
2. What we use
- Necessary Supabase authentication cookies and session tokens for login and account security.
- Language preference cookies such as NEXT_LOCALE or lang.
- Theme and interface preference cookies, such as theme, sidebar or selected workspace state.
- Cart localStorage used to keep menu items before checkout.
- Checkout draft cookies and sessionStorage used to protect and restore an in-progress order.
- Cookie banner localStorage used to remember whether the banner was accepted or rejected.
- Technical security and rate-limiting data processed on the server side.
3. Third-party tools
Some third-party tools may set their own cookies or process technical data when you use a related feature:
- Stripe or the current payment provider during payment checkout and payment authentication.
- Cloudflare Turnstile where captcha protection is enabled.
- Supabase for authentication and backend services.
- Google services if you use Google sign-in or open map/location links provided by restaurants.
4. Analytics and advertising
The current app configuration does not use advertising cookies or behavioral advertising tracking. Analytics is configured as a no-op provider unless a future provider is explicitly enabled.
5. Managing cookies and storage
You can block or delete cookies and browser storage in your browser settings. Some features, including login, cart and checkout, may stop working correctly.
If optional cookie categories are introduced later, the app may ask for separate consent where required.
